For those that know me, I've always had a small frame. I'm 5'2 and the only time I've weighed over 100 lbs was when I was about to give birth. I tried for YEARS to gain weight. After my daughter was born, I finally gave up.
I've heard it my entire life. Don't worry. You'll gain it when you hit college. You'll gain it after you have kids. Oh, just wait til you hit 30... Nope. None of that happened.
I've heard my fair share of "eat a sandwich", "somebody should buy you a burger", to people asking my husband "do you not feed her?" People. I mean SEVERAL people have come up to me in public. Especially in grocery store, I'm not sure why... to ask me how much I weighed. As I grew older and more comfortable with my body, I'd say "ok but you first!" as I flashed a big smile. It's at that point they'd realize how rude they were being.
Now that my unrelated back story is out of the way.
YA'LL! Is anybody else gaining massive amounts of weight during quarantine? No, seriously. It's 10:45AM and I'm sitting on a yoga ball eating a cheeseburger that I just cooked myself. It's getting beyond ridiculous. I've gained 10 lbs in two months. And no, not how I've always tried to gain. It is ALL in my stomach and butt. My boobs are still small, my collarbone and shoulderbones still stick out, my wrist is still the same size as my 9 year olds,
But my butt has gotten so big, my husbands best friend stopped by the other day and looked at my husband and said "I don't mean this in a bad way, but has her ass gotten bigger since the last time I seen ya'll?"
Geez ya'll. I need some help. and some motivation for some sit ups and squats. Bc I just don't feel like doing it. My "workout" is sitting on a yoga ball while I type all day.
Please tell me that I'm not the only one dealing with this crap. Are ya'll doing any workout to curb it? Give me some ideas. Mama needs help over here.
